Take the Regions Trivia Challenge and Win a Chance to Play in the Regions Charity Classic Pro-Am May 3
(Birmingham, Ala.) - Regions Financial Corp. (NYSE: RFC) will launch the “Regions Trivia Challenge” online sweepstakes starting April 3 – 21, 2006, at www.regions.com. By visiting the site and taking the challenge participants can win a chance to play in the Regions Charity Classic-Pro Am with one of the pros from the PGA Champions Tour, and have a $5,000 scholarship gift donated in the winner’s name to the Southeastern Conference school of their choice.
“This is a great opportunity for some lucky golf fan to get a chance to play with the pros,” said Andrew Rosen, director of Marketing for Regions. “And, to top it off the winner gets a $5,000 scholarship donated to the SEC school of their choice – what a better way to show your team spirit.”
In addition to the Trivia Challenge, customers who sign up for a new Regions Access Visa® CheckCard will receive two free tickets to the tournament. The Regions Access Visa CheckCard comes with any of Regions’ Product Packages, so there’s sure to be a package to fit any consumer’s every day need. Plus, when they show the CheckCard or Regions Credit Card at the Regions Welcome Pavilion at the tournament they get a free gift.

The Regions Charity Classic presented by Bruno’s Supermarkets will be held May 1-7 at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Ross Bridge in Hoover, Ala. A field of 78 golf professionals will be competing for a $1.6 million purse, an increase of $100,000 from 2005. Ronnie Bruno will continue his leadership role as the foundation’s president.
