Regions Charity Classic Foundation 
The Regions Charity Classic Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization with proceeds raised from each year’s tournament activities benefiting various charities.
The benefiting 501(c)3 charities are selected from a wide variety of areas including education, arts, health and the humanities. In order to maximize the number of charitable organizations receiving funds, some recipients rotate from year to year. Preference is given to local and state organizations.
The 2008 Regions Charity Classic, an official Champions Tour event, donated more than $572,000 to charitable organizations in Alabama. In its 17-year history, the tournament has donated more than $10 million to Alabama charities!
Birdies for Charity
Charity begins on the golf course at the Regions Charity Classic. You have the opportunity to make a local charity a big winner by participating in the Birdies for Charity program. Participating charities receive every single penny of the donations generated! Additionally, you have a chance to win great prizes when you pitch in to help the soliciting charity. |
