Volunteer Uniform
This year’s volunteer shirt is a light green  pique cotton shirt with a collar.  The men’s and women’s shirts have  three button plackets.  The cap and visor are stone.  Volunteers will provide their own khaki pants.  Women also have the option of wearing khaki shorts. 

Optional Items
The long sleeve black windshirt has a 1/2 zip front with a rain resistant microfiber fabric and is fully lined .   The men’s straw hat is the same as last year with the exception of the white band.  New this year is a ladies straw hat.  If you missed out last year, be sure to order your optional items with your volunteer package.   All items will have the  Regions Charity Classic logo.

Uniform on Website
Pictures of the volunteer shirt, jacket, cap, visor and straw hat will be posted on the website within the next few days.

Volunteer Golf Voucher
Following the tournament, volunteers that worked a minimum of 3 shifts will receive 1 golf voucher to play golf at Ross Bridge.  Volunteers will be responsible for the cart fee.  The golf voucher will have an expiration date of  August 31, 2008. The voucher is good anytime with the exception of Saturday's and Sunday’s during the month of May.  The golf voucher will be non-transferable.  Junior volunteers do not qualify for the round of golf. 

Volunteer Shifts
Please note this year, marshals will not be needed on Monday or Tuesday and very few committees will need volunteers on those days.  If this is one of your three shifts to work, please contact your chairperson or hole captain to arrange another day to volunteer. One shift is 5-6 hours.  For most committees, we can guarantee only one shift each day.

Committee Confirmation
Committee confirmation letters will be mailed  in April.  This letter will have details about uniform distribution.  Uniform distribution will be held at Belk’s at Riverchase Galleria.

Recruiting Incentive
Volunteers have an opportunity to walk inside the ropes with one of the premier groups.  All you need to do to enter the drawing is recruit new volunteers.  Each time that you recruit a new volunteer, your name will go into the drawing for one of the Honorary Observer Positions.  
One volunteer will be selected to participate  each day  during the tournament.  A new volunteer is defined as someone that has never volunteered for the tournament or one that did not volunteer in 2007.  Your name must be submitted on the application.  All entries must be received by March 30, 2008.  The drawing will be held on April 15th.
